Boston University Tanglewood Institute  P. July 13-August 13, 2016 in Lenox, Massachusetts.  The Young Artists Harp Program for ages 14-19 (pre-college) is a full-immersion program providing young players a comprehensive overview of all facets of harp playing. Brevard Music Center P. In Brevard, North Carolina. High School Division: June 24 - August 7, 2016. College Division: June 19 - August 7, 2016. Students work with and perform alongside world-renowned conductors and guest-artists. Daily orchestra & opera rehearsals, weekly concerts, private lessons & orchestral parts sectionals, mock auditions, concerto competition, chamber music (optional) and 3 harp ensemble concerts. Eastern Music Festival P. June 25-July 30, 2016 in Greensboro, North Carolina. Age 14-23. Orchestral training institute. Every student rehearses six times a week and presents a full-length concert of standard orchestral repertoire. The two Young Artists Orchestras are of equal ability; seating assignments change weekly, and students generally perform with both orchestras during the course of the Festival. They are held to the same professional standards as our faculty regarding performance, attendance, and punctuality. Students may also perform with the faculty orchestra and visiting artists. Interlochen Arts Camp Harp Programs P.  Interlochen, Michigan. Intermediate Division June 25 - August 8, 2016. Students work with world-renowned conductors, teachers and guest artists in private lessons, studio classes and harp ensemble. Students have opportunities to perform as soloists, in small groups and with large ensembles. Instructor: Joan Raeburn Holland. Auditions are required. The Vancouver Symphony Orchestral P June 26 – July 5, 2016 at Whistler, British Columbia, Canada. Students will be immersed in a collaborative musical environment alongside and mentored by a world-class symphony orchestra, under the direction of the VSO's internationally acclaimed music director, Maestro Bramwell Tovey. Participation in the Whistler Institute Orchestra, chamber music, individual and group coachings, as well as a variety of unique performance opportunities.  Whistler Institute Orchestra 2016 program includes Richard Strauss’ Don Juan. Young Artist's Harp Seminar P. July 9-23, 2016 in northern Georgia. Private lessons, master classes, harp ensemble, various workshops and concerts. Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp L, P. Four sessions. Grades 7-12: June 29-July 10, and July 13-24, 2016. (Second session concentrates on developing skills for orchestral and chamber playing.) Canadian International Summer Harp Institute (CISHI) L, P. July 3-10, 2016 in Caroline, Alberta, Canada. Intensive one-week training programme for students of all levels. Coda Mountain Academy Summer Music Festival, L, P. July 2-15, 2016 in Hilltop, West Virginia. Harp students ages 12-23, intermediate to advanced. Glissando Summer Harp Fest  L, P.  June 20-24, 2016 at the Peabody Preparatory Annapolis Campus in Annapolis, Maryland. A one-week intensive harp summer program for intermediate to advanced students of all ages, designed to assist in developing harpists through the exploration of ensemble performance, stage presence and harp maintenance. Enrichment activities rehearsals, and coaching will culminate in a concert on June 24. Harp in the Mountains Summer Festival 2016 L, P.  July 19-25 in Madisonburg, Pennsylvania. Camp atmosphere and intense harp study for ages 13-20. We will be taking a new look at the ways we learn, practice and perform as well as refreshing theory and musicianship skills, ensembles.
